My only color tattoo!! 🧿

The cactus healed really well! Handpoked tattoos come with unique challenges for both the artist and the client, but I’m glad to have some done by a close friend.

My third tattoo was this tiny handpoked cactus which was my friend’s first attempt at a handpoked tattoo.

Can’t believe its been 7 years since I got this tattoo. My second tattoo ever and it still looks amazing.

my first tattoo, from uncle phoebe's flash book! a few years later my friend realized this one is evocative of beach house's holiday house cover art!

My favorite miyazaki movies - Nausicaa and Princess Mononoke. They were so good I had to go back. Done by Yanz tattoo in NYC.

I picked up this vase while on a solo trip to the Netherlands. My family is dutch so I wanted to get a Delftware piece. Beautifully done by Mary Black.

This one was also done by Jamie, it is a Frank mask from Donnie Darko, one of my favorite movies.

This piece was done by Jamie at Rebel N Saints Tattoo in Brooklyn. Its inspired by my trip to norway where I went to the Munch museum and saw this sketch that he did called death and the woman.

Kinda hard to photograph these because of how they wrap around my leg but such beautiful work by Maggie Cho. They were inspired by one of my favorite books/films watership down.
